5/12/21 --- A note from Mr. Sinclair regarding changes to the mask policy:

 

Good Evening Brashier Families

As I am sure you are aware, yesterday the Governor mandated the Department of Health and Environmental Control to consult with the SC State Department of Education to create a ďMask Opt OutĒ form for parents to complete and return to their studentís school.  Today, the Brashier administrative team and board met to discuss and review the Opt Out form.  This form is attached and must be completed and returned to the front office of the school upon arrival for students opting out.

Greenville Technical College has not changed their mask policy.  This opt out option only pertains to our building and the parking lot closest to the building.  If your student will be attending summer classes or entering another building for some other reason, he or she will be required to wear a mask.

There are very few days remaining in the school year before our exams start.  I ask that students and parents respect one anotherís freedom to make this decision, as well as respect each otherís health concerns.  We have worked diligently over the past 15 years to create a respectful culture in our school, and I am proud of the way our parents, students, and staff have handled this year.  Many tough decisions were made, and many people showed grace in complying with rules with which they may not have agreed.  I would ask that this respect continue as we implement changes resulting from this mandate and work hard to prepare our students for their exams.

PowerSchool Parent Portal Instructions

To access your student's grades and attendance via the Internet, you will need the following information:

Please keep your passwords confidential so only you can access the information. 
Please contact the main office if you have any questions or issues with the Parent Portal. 

 

To create your account PowerSchool Parent Portal Account, please follow the steps listed below: 
1. Open the Internet browser on your computer. 
2. Type https://cie.powerschool.com/public/home.html in the address bar. 
3. If you do not already have a PowerSchool Parent Account, click the "Create Account" button at the bottom of the page. 
4. Complete the fields on the top half of the page. 
5. To link a student to your account, enter the student's name, Access ID, and Access Password into the appropriate fields. Select your relationship to the student from the drop-down menu. 
6. If you have other students add their names, Access IDs, and Passwords to the list. You can also add additional students after you have logged in for the first time. 
7. Click the blue "enter" button to finish creating your account. 
8. Once your account is created, enter the username and password you chose for your parent account.
