The Brashier Middle College faculty and staff appreciate the opportunity to work with all parents to ensure student success. All parents are asked to do the following to stay informed of important information:

  • Read the weekly Community Bulletin that goes out every Sunday evening 
  • Read through the College Admissions & Scholarship Guide

PowerSchool Parent Portal Instructions

To access your student's grades and attendance via the Internet, you will need the following information:

Please keep your passwords confidential so only you can access the information. 
Please contact the main office if you have any questions or issues with the Parent Portal. 

 

To create your account PowerSchool Parent Portal Account, please follow the steps listed below: 
1. Open the Internet browser on your computer. 
2. Type https://cie.powerschool.com/public/home.html in the address bar. 
3. If you do not already have a PowerSchool Parent Account, click the "Create Account" button at the bottom of the page. 
4. Complete the fields on the top half of the page. 
5. To link a student to your account, enter the student's name, Access ID, and Access Password into the appropriate fields. Select your relationship to the student from the drop-down menu. 
6. If you have other students add their names, Access IDs, and Passwords to the list. You can also add additional students after you have logged in for the first time. 
7. Click the blue "enter" button to finish creating your account. 
8. Once your account is created, enter the username and password you chose for your parent account. 

 

Middle College Information

Brashier Middle College Charter High School offers a dual enrollment program in partnership with Greenville Technical College. Students at BMC can take college-level courses while still in high school.

Return to Instruction Plan

The ESSER Return to Instruction Plan will be evaluated by the Board of Directors annually and updated as necessary.

eLearning Plan for weather related closures

In the event that weather concerns create safety issues for in-person learning, we will implement the eLearning Plan to continue instruction at home.  Regular attendance will be taken during eLearning days.

FERPA Information

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a federal law that gives parents certain protections with regard to their children’s education records such as report cards, transcripts, disciplinary records, contact and family information. As a parent, you have the right to review your child’s education records and to request changes under limited circumstances.  Please see the US Department of Education website for additional information.

Health Education

As required by Proviso 1.48, Chapter 32, Title 59 of the standards and regulations adopted by the South Carolina State Board of Education, Brashier Middle College uses curriculum provided by www.livefree.org in compliance of this proviso for health education.
